Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By adding Todo Bot to a Discord server, installing it on your Discord account, or using any of its commands, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the service. If you are adding the bot to a server, you confirm that you are authorised to do so on that server's behalf.

Description of Service

Todo Bot is a Discord task management bot that provides:

• Todo lists created with the /list command and posted as a Discord message
• Buttons, dropdowns and modals for toggling, editing and removing items
• Assignment of lists and items to users and roles
• Completion tracking, crediting the person who closed each item

The service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid features in future, in which case the terms that apply to them will be made clear before you opt in.

Eligibility

You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement — at least 13 years old, or older where local law requires — and have an account in good standing to use Todo Bot.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the bot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Not put unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or infringing content into list titles, task items or the feedback form
• Not abuse or exploit the bot's features, including attempting to overload the service, evade rate limits, or access data belonging to other servers
• Not use the bot for unauthorized or illegal purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, probe or interfere with the bot's infrastructure

Your Content

You keep all rights to the task content you create. You grant us only the permission needed to store, display and process that content so the bot can function. You are responsible for the content you submit, and we may remove content or refuse service where content breaches these terms.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any user or server that breaches these terms, abuses the service, or puts its reliability or other users at risk. You may stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your server or uninstalling it from your account; to have stored data erased, make a deletion request as described in our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

While we strive for 100% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

Data Handling

We handle all user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to such processing and storage of your information. Note in particular that deleting a list in Discord hides it rather than erasing it, and that removing the bot does not by itself erase stored data.

Limitation of Liability

Todo Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for lost, corrupted or unavailable task data, and you should not rely on the bot as the sole record of anything critical. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

Relationship to Discord

Todo Bot is built by Neural Lab and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. "Discord" and the Discord logo are trademarks of Discord Inc. Your use of Discord itself remains governed by Discord's own terms and policies.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in our support server. Continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
